These terms cover your use of Walkoli. Using the app means you accept them.
Walkoli is not veterinary advice
Walkoli generates walking plans from breed, age, and weight using general guidance. It is not a veterinary service and does not diagnose or treat anything. Talk to a vet before starting a weight-loss programme, especially if your dog is older, recovering, or has a heart, joint, or breathing condition. If your dog seems distressed during a walk, stop.
Your account
You sign in with Google or Apple; Walkoli never handles a password. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and you need to be old enough to agree to these terms where you live — at least 13.
Walk safely
You are responsible for your own and your dog's safety. Follow local leash laws, respect access rules, and use your own judgement about weather, terrain, and traffic. Walking with a phone in hand carries obvious risks — the app is not a substitute for paying attention to where you are going.
Community trail information
Trail details — difficulty, tags, and whether dogs are allowed — come from OpenStreetMap and from other users. It can be wrong or out of date.
Some dog-access information is marked Verified and links to an official source such as a parks department. Even then, rules change and the source may be stale. Check official signage when you arrive. Walkoli is not responsible for fines or refused entry.
Ratings and tags you submit become part of the shared pool other users see. Do not submit anything false, offensive, or that isn't yours to share.
Subscriptions
- Walkoli has a free tier. Premium adds vet-shareable PDF reports and multiple dog profiles.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Walkoli never sees your card number.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from Account settings; access continues to the end of the paid period.
- Prices can change, with notice before a renewal is affected.
Acceptable use
Don't break the law with it, don't try to breach or overload the service, don't scrape it, don't submit deliberately false trail data, and don't attempt to reach other users' accounts or data.
Availability
Walkoli is provided as-is, without guarantees of uptime or accuracy. Parts of it depend on services outside our control — OpenStreetMap for trail data, browser push for notifications, your device's GPS — and those can fail independently.
To the extent the law allows, Walkoli is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for injury arising from walks you choose to take. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Your content
Your dogs, walks, weights, and routes remain yours. Submitting a trail rating grants permission to show that contribution to other users as part of the shared trail data.
Ending things
Stop whenever you like — email support@jsilva.xyz to delete your account. Accounts that abuse the service or these terms may be suspended.
Changes
These terms may change; the date at the top will change with them, and material changes will be flagged in the app. Continuing to use Walkoli after that means you accept the new version.
